Congratulations to Chicago-based singer-songwriter Steve Dawson on being invited to perform as part of U.K. Americana Music Week in London. In addition to his solo efforts, Dawson is also a member of the Dolly Varden and Funeral Bonsai Wedding bands.

Sting’s new album The Bridge came out today. “Rushing Water,” the catchy and clever track I’ve been hearing on WXRT in Chicago suggests the artist is at the top of his game. WXRT air personality Ryan Arnold recently conducted an interesting interview via Zoom with Sting, and it can be viewed on the station’s website. Sting was in Las Vegas at the time of the Zoom interview for his My Songs residency at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. His last 2021 shows will be this weekend in Greensboro, NC, but he has more dates scheduled for 2022.
