The Regrettes’ third album Further Joy is coming out April 8, and a few weeks later, the Los Angeles band will embark on a tour that includes a stop at Metro in Chicago on May 13. Alex Lahey will be the opening act. The first two albums from The Regrettes offered an irresistible mix of punk energy and alienation, flavored with bits of Motown and the 1960s girl groups sound.
